A large three level village house, recently restored, at the edge of the village and beside the church square and parking. The ground floor has a large dining room, kitchen, one large bedroom with a double bed and an ensuite bathroom with bath and shower cubicle, a bedroom with two single beds, and a shower room with shower cubicle, w.c. and washbasin. In addition there are two double sofa beds, one in dining room and one in the day room, which is on the upper floor, with a kitchen area, and two terraces, with magnificent views to the valley and the mountains. The lower level has the garden, and a lower part of the house which includes covered patio with tables and chairs. The garden is about 200 sq.m. and consists of a lawn, fruit trees ( orange, custard apple, sharon fruit), flower beds, rose bushes, a terrace at the side of the house, and a raised barbecue area beside the swimming pool ( 3 by 5 by 1.2 m). A charming feature is an irrigation water channel running beside the barbecue area. The house is an old traditionally built village house, and has been restored retaining many original features, such as beams, thick walls, niche cupboards etc. Parking is close by, in the church square adjacent to the house. The location is very peaceful.

Location, surroundings and activities
The valley of Los Guajares is enchantingly beautiful, and its three villages, whitewashed and unspoilt, are peaceful and picturesque. There are many good walks in the valley, one to a ruined medieval fortified arab village, el Castillejo, visible from the house. Under the trees a little way up the valley is a picnic spot, with a waterfall. There are several places to eat in the villages, which specialise in serving good food to the weekend visitors, generally coming up from the coast. Motril, a coastal town of 50,000, is twenty minutes drive away, and coastal tourist towns such Salobrena, Almunecar, Nerja, are close by.
Granada, the capital, with the famous Alhambra, is less than an hour´s drive, and the Sierra Nevada ski rersort cam be reached in one and a half hours.

Normally a 25% deposit is requested in advance to secure a booking
Normally guests time of departure is midday ,and time of arrival 5 pm, but this can be flexible depending on previous and following bookings.
Linen, cleaning and pets
All linen, towels etc. are provided.
If required, cleaning during one´s stay can be arranged at additional cost. The house is cleaned prior to arrival.
