In het typisch Spaans dorp (2500 inwoners) op 3 minuten rijafstand zijn er winkeltjes bars restaurants en 2 discotheken. Meer keuze is er in Velez-Malaga (20 min.) waar een hypermodern winkelcentrum is met alle mogelijke producten en kledij van alle mogelijke merken.
Op vijf minuten hiervandaan bevind zich Torre Del Mar deze levendige badplaats bied de gelegenheid om langs de kustlijn een fikse wandeling te maken op de 7 kilometer lange promenade of te genieten op één van de talrijke terrasjes.
